Argumentative Essay

Michael Jackson was named as the King of Pop in 1991. Michael Jackson became extremely popular very quickly and everything went downhill when the accusations of him being a child molester came to the surface. It was apparently proven that he wasn’t, and people were lying about him for years. Sixteen years later is when Michael Jackson died. What everyone knows and what the medical examiners published was that he died from the wrong dosing of benzodiazepine (Birchall). As always, there are multiple conspiracies about him. In 2009, King of Pop died, how? Did he fake his death, was he murdered, or did he die before 2009 and was cloned?

The first conspiracy is he was murdered. But, who would do that to Michael Jackson? According to The Washington Post, in a 2011 trial they convicted Michael “Jackson’s physician, Conrad Murray, of involuntary manslaughter,” (Chaney). They believed that Conrad Murray was the one who gave the random drugs to Michael and told him they were something completely different, so it would look like suicide or an overdose. The way Conrad could have done this was by using the medication that Jackson was prescribed, benzodiazepine, also known as a very high surgical anesthetic. Michael Jackson used a very small dosage to help him with his insomnia. At one point Conrad Murray was suspected to have upped his dose to a very high amount. The first-person Jackson called when he felt very loopy and knew something was wrong was Conrad. Michael told Conrad “Call the police, something is wrong. I need medical attention now.” (Chaney). Murray apparently refused and told him to call on his own, but of course no one knows for sure. Somehow Jackson was picked up by an ambulance and taken to the hospital. Jackson ended up dying in the hospital at 2:26 pm (Smith).

The trial in 2012 with Michael Jackson’s coroner, pathologist, cardiologist, and psychiatrist was over how he even died and if one of them murdered him. During the trial and investigation, it was “proven” that none of them killed Michael Jackson. One of the jurors questioned if he was still alive and one of his medical examiners helped him escape (Duke). There was a video going around that Michael Jackson physically walked out of the ambulance. As well as the autopsy report saying Michael Jackson was bald in some places. The jurors believed that something questionable was going on that was not being told to them (Duke). The autopsy report also shows that his “body was riddled with needle marks and scars, and his head was virtually bald,” (Cartwright). But as we all know Michael Jackson was not bald, he had a head full of hair. Michael was also reported to have talked to one of his family members a few days before he passed and told them that “someone was out to get me,” (Cartwright).

After the trial, Michael Jackson’s fans were very avid in finding out the truth. Earlier Quincy Jones was brought up and from Michael’s fans, they believed that Quincy murdered him and attempted to make it look exactly like a suicide (Kennedy). Quincy hates on Michael Jackson because Jackson was very insecure of the way he looked. Michael Jackson had vitiligo which caused him to hate the way he looked; Quincy was reported saying “’He’d always justify it and say it was because of some disease he had. Bulls**t,’” on a video conference call after Michael Jackson’s death (Kennedy). But who was Quincy in Michaels life? Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson met when Jackson was at age of twelve at one of their shared friends’ parties (Jones). As they grew older Michael complained a lot to Jones because he thought they were close enough for that, but to Jones he just had a hatred (Jones 1).
